Cookie Policy
Effective 3 November 2026 · Version 1.0
This policy explains the cookies CloseLoop Labs uses. The short version: only the few that are strictly necessary to sign you in securely.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember you between pages and visits. CloseLoop Labs only uses strictly necessary cookies. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use other tracking tools such as pixels or session recording.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expires | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__Secure-next-auth.session-token | CloseLoop Labs | Keeps you signed in. Encrypted. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
__Host-next-auth.csrf-token | CloseLoop Labs | Protects sign-in from cross-site forgery. | End of session | Strictly necessary |
__Secure-next-auth.callback-url | CloseLoop Labs | Returns you to the right page after signing in with Google. | End of session | Strictly necessary |
__Secure-next-auth.state | CloseLoop Labs | Checks the Google sign-in reply is genuine. Removed after sign-in. | 15 minutes | Strictly necessary |
__Secure-next-auth.pkce.code_verifier | CloseLoop Labs | Secures the exchange with Google during sign-in. Removed after sign-in. | 15 minutes | Strictly necessary |
Strictly necessary cookies don't need your consent under UK law, because the service can't work without them. Signing in with Google also takes you to Google's own pages, where Google's cookie policy applies.
Managing cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there's nothing to switch on or off. You can see this any time under Cookie settings in the footer. If we ever add optional cookies, we'll ask for your permission there first and update this policy.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block these ones you won't be able to sign in. Questions: privacy@closelooplabs.io.
